At MKT FIT we have a broad range of athletes with various athletic and experience levels. We also have athletes who have different goals ranging from wanting to achieve a baseline of health to being competitive in sports and CrossFit. At MKT we offer workout programming to suit the needs and goals of all athletic and experience levels. Our program develops general physical preparedness and is designed to help athletes increase their work capacity across broad times and modal domains.

The CrossFit program is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.

The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. This fitness is demanded of military and police personnel, firefighters, and many sports requiring total or complete physical prowess. CrossFit has proven effective in these arenas.

Aside from the breadth or totality of fitness the CrossFit Program seeks, our program is distinctive, if not unique, in its focus on maximizing neuroendocrine response, developing power, cross-training with multiple training modalities, constant training and practice with functional movements, and the development of successful diet strategies.

Our athletes are trained to bike, run, swim, and row at short, middle, and long distances guaranteeing exposure and competency in each of the three main metabolic pathways.

We train our athletes in gymnastics from rudimentary to advanced movements garnering great capacity at controlling the body both dynamically and statically while maximizing strength to weight ratio and flexibility. We also place a heavy emphasis on Olympic Weightlifting having seen this sport’s unique ability to develop an athletes’ explosive power, control of external objects, and mastery of critical motor recruitment patterns. And finally, we encourage and assist our athletes to explore a variety of sports as a vehicle to express and apply their fitness.

At MKT FIT we offer 3 different workout prescriptions; Health (HRX), Fitness (FRX), and Sport (SRX)

The Health Prescription (HRX)

The HRX track is for those who within their first 1-12 months of CrossFit and are working towards basics standards of health. Some may be working to get off certain medications and improve specific health metrics such as blood pressure, body fat percentage, muscle mass, and HDL/LDL cholesterol levels. The HRX is the basic standard for health and fitness. With the HRX, proper basic movements, such as, core strength, hip flexion, and active shoulder use are developed, while healed injuries and structural problems are resolved.

The Fitness Prescription (FRX) 

The Fitness Prescription is for those who aspire to achieve an above average level of fitness. All healthy adults can aspire to this level of fitness. Basic movements are perfected and advanced skills are introduced. The complete FRX may take from six months to several years to reach after mastering the HRX. Along the way, you develop significant levels of strength, stamina, work capacity, and speed, building on the HRX foundation.

The Sport Prescription (SRX) 

The Sport Prescription is for those who aspire to be competitive in the sport of CrossFit and or in other high-level competitive arenas. Though few people possess this level of general fitness, any healthy person can achieve it. The strength, work capacity, power and skill required to meet these goals can prepare you to tackle any kind of physical performance with competence and confidence. Expect to invest another three to five years of consistent effort. This level of achievement requires longterm dedication and a passion for fitness.
