MKT Yoga Classes

MKT FIT Yoga classes can help anyone at any level improve their physical and mental health by using yoga to promote wellness through breath and movement. Each class will inspire you to be happier and healthier through a welcoming and accessible approach to yoga.

Pre-register for MKT classes as space is limited to 12 people. We have spaces marked for mats to maintain social distancing. Masks are required while moving about the gym. While practicing in your designated space, you may remove your mask. Please bring your own yoga mat. Yoga mats and props will not be available to borrow. You may bring your own props if you desire. Yoga blocks are recommended for all classes.

  • Monday: 9:30-10:30 am 
  • Tuesday: 7:00-8:00 pm 
  • Wednesday: 9:30-10:30 am
  • Thursday: 7:00-8:00 pm 
  • Friday: 9:30-10:30 am

Non Members

MKT Power Yoga Flow

This all-level class emphasizes the powerful flow of breath while moving the body, empowering you to immerse into your physical and mental self. It is a “down-to-earth” class, welcoming to beginners, where students are encouraged to modify poses to create the experience they need for that moment.

Each class will include:

  1. Gentle warm up
  2. Sun salutations
  3. Standing/balancing poses
  4. Seated poses and cool down stretches
  5. Savasana

About the Instructor

Mallory Dischert – 

Mallory has been practicing yoga and incorporating its philosophies in her life since 2009. She completed her 500-hour yoga teacher training in 2015 at the Yoga School of Therapeutics in Overland Park, KS. Since then she has worked with many different yoga students including athletes at the University of Missouri. She loves teaching yoga because it’s an activity that anyone can do. She loves helping people to relieve stress while improving their sense of physical and emotional well being. Her favorite part of a class is at the end when she can feel the energy in the room is in a relaxed and calm state. In her spare time, Mallory enjoys CrossFit and spending outdoor time with her husband and 2 toddlers.
