You’ll be participating in group classes utilizing the CrossFit methodologies outlined below.

  • Diet: lays the molecular foundations for fitness and health.
  • Metabolic Conditioning: builds capacity in each of three metabolic pathways, beginning with aerobic, then lactic acid, and then phosphocreatine pathways.
  • Gymnastics: establishes functional capacity for body control and range of motion.
  • Weightlifting and Throwing: develop the ability to control external objects and produce power.
  • Sport: applies fitness in a competitive atmosphere with more randomized movements and skill mastery.

What To Expect

Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics to scale to the experience and fitness levels of any individual, be it a total fitness beginner or elite competitive CrossFitter.
CrossFit is designed to be constantly varied, meaning everyday is different so you never get bored. All workouts are based on the core movements of life, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, rowing and more.

All of our CrossFit Classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:

A certified coach will guide you through warming up, followed by movement instruction and demonstration for the workout. The Coach will supervise and correct any movement performed by you during the workout.”

Boy howdy! MKT CrossFit is the best darn place around. Abbey and Justin run it like a couple of pros. Workouts are tough as nails, but they make you feel like family. They're real salt of the earth folk who know their stuff.

The community here is as welcoming as a Missouri front porch. If you're lookin' to get fit and have a good time, MKT CrossFit is where it's at. Five stars, no doubt about it!

I walked in for fitness and found great athletes, excellent coaches, clean facilities, and challenging workouts (in a good way). But the best part is the COMMUNITY that is a part of everything MKT does. I love this place and these people! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I've been a member of CrossFit MKT for more than 4 years, and it's been an incredible journey. The coaches are not just knowledgeable but incredibly supportive, always pushing me to achieve more while ensuring proper form and technique. Since joining, I've seen a remarkable improvement in my strength, endurance, and overall fitness level. I can say that at 40 I’m at the fittest level of my life. CrossFit has been my only training for a half marathon in 2020, Grand Canyon rim to rim backpacking in 2022 and half dome in 2023. Great coaching and classes available! I am new to Crossfit and was not sure how it was going to go for me especially being in classes with experienced people but everyone is SO gracious and helpful. I feel so thankful for MKT for my overall mental and physical health and the friends I have made along the way 🙂
