When we have a “been there, done that” mentality, we limit our progress.

What is coachability?coach

Coachability is the act of being receptive to feedback, constructive criticism, and utilizing that feedback and constructive criticism to improve your fitness and performance. Instead of rolling your eyes at another breakdown of a movement you’ve already done a thousand times, approach every class, including warm-ups and drills, with a beginner’s mindset. Pay close attention! You will likely hear or see something that will stick out to you that will further your progress by dialing in technique.

4 easy ways to be coachable:

  • be on time
  • come prepared
  • stay attentive
  • always be ready to learn

Being coachable consistently improves your technique. When you take great technique and add intensity, you will experience improvements in your strength, endurance, and overall fitness. So stay humble and be coachable!
